Salt Lake City is also home to one Fortune 500 company Huntsman Corporation and a couple of Fortune 1000 companies Zions Bancorporation and Questar Corporation.

Tourism also contributes to the city’s economy.  After the 2002 Olympic Winter Games tourism has increased.

Bicycling has also increased as a form of transportation in Salt Lake City.  In 2010 the city was awarded as a Silver Level Bicycle Friendly Community.
